Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Supports organizational/departmental projects and provides leadership.
  • Maintains the functioning of technical equipment and sets up maintenance schedules.
  • Assumes responsibility for preventive maintenance processes.
  • Prepares scope of work, project plans, and documents for contractor services.
  • Supervises and monitors contracted vendors' work.
  • Sets up internal communication channels and delegates responsibilities.
  • Evaluates proposals and reviews project documents.
  • Applies knowledge of facilities management and safety regulations.
  • Continuously researches and complies with facility codes.

Leadership Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Takes responsibility for disciplinary actions and communicates them to national management.
  • Models work ethics, team support, communication skills, and workplace standards.
  • Prepares budgets and monitors cost centers.
  • Determines staffing needs and requests additional personnel.
  • Maintains employee attendance, adjusts salaries, conducts appraisals, and implements corrective action plans.

Requirements

  • Possess a valid passport or ability to obtain one.
  • Up to 30% travel, occasionally international.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS-Office suite and basic CAD skills.
  • Professional training in team leadership or 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Cost awareness, teamwork, resilience, and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction theory and practice.
  • Basic OSHA knowledge and compliance.
  • Technical skills in electrical and mechanical systems, reading blueprints, and site plans.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.
  • Valid driver's license.

Health and Safety

  • Complies with safety and health standards.
  • Handles repetitive motions, uses hands, talks, hears, looks, types, stands, walks, twists, bends, lifts up to 50 pounds, and performs duties in an office and field setting.
  • Employees may be exposed to tripping hazards and noise levels ranging from low to medium.
