Group Leader - CDA Certified/Master Teacher

Location

Roosevelt Elementary School, 4250 W Tecumseh Rd, Norman, OK 73072

Schedule

The Group Leader is expected to report at their site 2:30pm–6:00pm, Monday through Friday. Various additional hours may be needed at times for workload.

• Starting at $17.50 per hour (Current CDA Certification/Master Teacher rate)

Requirements

Be a Master Teacher/Current CDA certification. You can meet the requirements in one of the following ways:

• CDA CCP Credential
• 12 credit hours in ECE/CD/SA through CECPD
• Oklahoma certificate of Mastery
• 1050 hours of training and passing the Master Teachers test (must show proof of certificate)

Responsibilities

• Ensure the successful implementation of engaging programs that advance the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of children
• Complete adventurous tasks that ignite a child's sense of wonder
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by establishing/operating clubs that build on the student's interests and talents
• Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, parent, and school relationships are fostered at your program site
