Group Leader (Bi-lingual-Spanish Speaking)

Responsibilities

• Set goals for program participants
• Facilitate activities
• Prepare curriculum and lesson plans
• Maintain a safe and learning environment for program participants
• Provide homework help
• Facilitate activities outside of school day hours
• Supervise and monitor children
• Take daily attendance
• Aid tutors and activity specialists in managing and documenting behavior
• Maintain supplies
• Aid in data collection and upkeep of participant documents
• Attend all necessary program meetings
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED
• Fluent in Spanish
• Content-specific experience (e.g., sports, arts, literacy, etc.)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience working with children
• Ability to plan and carry out assignments independently
• Ability to prioritize, adhere to timelines, and multi-task

Pay and Schedule

• Pay Rate: $18.00
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, between 1:30 PM - 6:00 PM
