Requirements
- Troubleshoot manufacturing problems for multiple businesses.
- Regulatory Compliance: Analytical testing EHS Support for ECHA/REACH and other agencies.
- Transform the Analytical cost structure from hourly based to test/service-based entity.
- Hazardous Waste Management: Annual RCRA training required for compliance, managing waste generated in the laboratory, storage, labeling, accumulation area requirements, emergency response training, Laboratory Spill Kit Training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Chemistry.
- 15+ years of laboratory experience in Analytical Chemistry.
- 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Practical knowledge of Chromatography (Gas, Liquid, GPC, IC), Mass Spectrometry, Classical Chemistry / Method development, ICP, Metals analysis, Thermal Analysis (TGA, DSC).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, customer-focused.
- Safety experience / focus preferred.
- Practical computer literacy.
- Preferred qualifications include a Ph.D. or equivalent in Chemistry: Analytical, Organic, Inorganic, Physical, relevant tools/skills, previous RCRA Compliance training and experience.
