About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Group Housing and Events Coordinator with a genuine passion for hospitality and an entrepreneurial spirit. This role ensures seamless guest experiences, accurate group reservations, and effective event coordination across our properties.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a courteous, professional demeanor and uphold the LINE’s standards of excellence, professionalism, and friendliness.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and teamwork with colleagues and other hotel departments.
- Take ownership of guest service issues and ensure resolution.
- Provide phone coverage for the Event Manager when unavailable.
- Maintain an electronic file system for events and create forms, flyers, newsletters, and coupons as needed.
- Gather and submit BEO Distro, B&C Pipeline, and Group Resumes data for weekly reports.
- Assist with POP-UP BEOs and distribute walk-throughs to all departments.
- Participate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings.
- Adhere to all operational standards, policies, procedures, and safety/emergency protocols, including OSHA requirements.
- Review group blocks for cut-off date extensions and monitor accuracy before, during, and after group stays.
- Attend weekly group pick-up meetings and run daily group arrivals lists for future dates.
- Review no-show reports daily and check for duplicate reservations or errors, contacting callers or group contacts to verify information.
- Work with the Events Service Manager and group clients on rooming lists, reservation changes, and group billing per contract and email history.
- Complete Group Commission Reports after group departures.
- Monitor room type availability daily and create/maintain group room blocks in Opera.
- Ensure all reservations include correct billing notes, routing, and necessary details.
- Assist in completing Group VIP reservations and communicate issues to the Events Service Manager and Front Office Manager.
- Research outstanding travel agent commissions for groups.
- Assist the Events Manager with rooms-only groups (business and wedding blocks) and their resumes.
- Handle in-house meetings, trainings, and events BEOs.
- Search and block spaces for internal work and manage calendar invites/updates for daily BEO and weekly resume meetings.
- Create and distribute pre-planning site forms, conduct walk meetings, and inspect guest rooms prior to site visits.
- Assist with BEO and Resume Distribution, pre-con invites, packets (BEOs, resumes, pickup reports, rooming lists), and tent cards.
Requirements
- High-school diploma or GED required.
- Two-year hotel or related experience preferred.
- Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical proficiency with a willingness to innovate and improve processes while managing expenses.
- High energy, positive attitude, and result-oriented mindset.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and within guidelines.

Pay
$26.00 - $27.00 per hour.
