Group Home Worker - Rochester (5438)

Join our mission to create a therapeutic and nurturing home environment for youth in a group home setting. The goal is to maintain a safe, secure atmosphere conducive to positive growth and change, including teaching daily and independent living skills, mentoring, and promoting community integration.

Responsibilities

• Plan and engage youth in activities
• Demonstrate decision-making, organizational, and communication skills (oral and written), including attention to detail
• Form therapeutic relationships with youth and families
• Work with a culturally and economically diverse population
• Understand group dynamics (preferred)

Requirements

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s Degree in Human Services preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with at-risk youth preferred
• TCI, First Aid/CPR certification required or ability to obtain and maintain certification
• Flexible availability, including night and weekend hours
• Current and valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history
• Proficiency in MS Office

Pay

$20 per hour; $2 shift differential for overnight shifts. Weekly pay.

Schedule

Evening and overnight shifts as needed.
