About the role

You will be responsible for creating a therapeutic and nurturing home environment for youth in a group home setting. The goal of the position is to maintain a safe, secure atmosphere conducive to the youth’s positive growth and change. This includes teaching daily and independent living skills, mentoring and promoting community integration.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
  • Associates Degree in Human Services preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with at-risk youth preferred
  • TCI, First Aid/CPR certification required or ability to obtain and maintain certification
  • Flexible availability required including night and weekend hours
  • Must have a current and valid driver's license with acceptable driving history to the Agency
  • MS Office skills required

Qualifications

  • Full attendance is required during the mandatory, fully paid training period

Pay

  • Salary commensurate with experience

Schedule

  • Saturday: 2 pm - 10 pm
  • Sunday: 3 pm - 11 pm
  • Monday: 11 am - 7 pm
  • Tuesday: 3 pm - 11 pm
  • Wednesday: 1 - 9 pm
  • Thursday & Friday: OFF
