About the role
Seeking a Manager with at least 2 years of DDD management experience to administer and supervise a group living facility in accordance with DDD and PILLAR policies, the expressed preferences of residents, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Supervise individual medical, activity, financial, and other recordkeeping; ensure required records and reports are completed and submitted on time.
- Perform duties of Residential Care Assistant or shift supervisor; support residents in implementing IHP/ISP or other goals.
- Adhere to standard health precautions; monitor and follow up on residents’ medical, dental, emotional, communication, social, recreation, ADL, family/community, financial, training, and habilitation needs; may accompany residents to appointments and administer prescribed or over-the-counter medication.
- Maintain safety and security through periodic inspections, scheduled fire drills, safety procedures, and training for residents and staff; ensure licensing standards are always met; conduct house meetings for residents and staff meetings for direct-care employees.
- Hire, direct, supervise, and train staff; coordinate schedules; conduct staff meetings; counsel, discipline, and evaluate staff; make recommendations for compensation, promotion, transfer, or termination.
- Develop policies, guidelines, and procedures; follow DDD and PILLAR policies to report emergencies, incidents, or operational concerns promptly; may investigate unusual incidents related to health, safety, or resident welfare.
- Lead and participate in annual licensing; participate in bi-annual Q&A audits and respond to findings with written plans of correction.
- Maintain ongoing communication with family, case managers, and others; participate in case management conferences; interact with residents’ family and friends; coordinate with day program staff, consultants, and other agencies; communicate with DDD staff as delegated.
- Implement and monitor the annual operating budget; approve expenditures; secure and account for residents’ personal funds; assist with money management.
- Supervise upkeep of the home for safety, cleanliness, and comfort; coordinate maintenance, repairs, and supply orders.
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age.
- Minimum of 3 years’ DDD management experience; DDD licensing experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED; BA/BS in Social Service, Rehabilitation, LPN, or similar discipline preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with 4 points or less; ability to drive a multi-passenger vehicle.
- 5 years of experience working with adults with disabilities.
- Experience handling a variety of medical diagnoses and behavioral needs; ability to conduct doctor appointments for individuals with disabilities.
- Ability to complete PILLAR trainings within the required period and adhere to DDD policies.
- Successful completion of drug screening, criminal history background check, and TB screening.

Pay
$60,000.00 to $66,000.00 per year.
