Marklund is a nonprofit organization that provides residential, educational, and therapy services to infants, children, teens, and adults with serious and profound developmental disabilities and special healthcare needs. With two residential locations in Geneva and Elgin, Marklund is home to nearly 178 residents. Our Day School offers Multi-Needs and Life Skills programs, and our Community Day Services provide therapeutic programs for adults both residing at Marklund and those from the community. About the Role

The Group Home Manager serves as a Case Manager for 16 clients, ensuring active treatment services, supervising facility programs, and working closely with parents, departments, and agencies. This position supervises staff members in a 16-bed home, providing total care to residents while collaborating with regulatory bodies to maintain compliance and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Accountability for the management of a designated 16-bed home.
• Monitor daily and monthly schedules of all direct care staff and adjust as necessary.
• Monitor performance of direct reports and provide timely feedback to enhance work performance.
• Ensure delivery of quality care by coordinating and evaluating life integration services.
• Develop, train, and implement Individual Program Plans (IPPs) for each client on caseload.
• Hold Interdisciplinary Team Meetings annually or as needed to review client progress.
• Complete comprehensive quarterly summaries and monitor progress or regression in goals.
• Supervise PSPs regarding implementation of active treatment programming and documentation.
• Attend client-related meetings, including appointments or conferences with parents.
• Obtain necessary items for clients, such as clothing, equipment, and toys.
• Attend outings or special events as needed.
• Maintain facility active treatment programs in compliance with IDPA/IDPH regulations.
• Monitor, implement, or change behavior programs and safety devices as necessary.
• In-service appropriate staff members on goals, positioning, active treatment, and equipment weekly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Social Services-related field.
• Must meet qualifications for QIDP training in the state of Illinois.

Schedule

Full-time position with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 10 AM - 6 PM, and 2 weekend days per month.

Pay

Starting salary of $50,960 per year.
