About the role
We are hiring a Group Home Manager at RHA Health Services. This is a regular position.
Responsibilities
- Supervises and coordinates activities of Direct Support employees
- Spends adequate amounts of time in the residential facility monitoring and providing feedback to staff on all three shifts
- Maintains communication and provides feedback to clinical and professional healthcare staff
- Standardizes procedures and expedites the implementation of person-centered plans
- Resolves employee issues and conducts performance reviews
- Makes sure employees meet training requirements and attend required events
- Makes audits for medication administration
- Makes sure employees meet budget guidelines
- Makes sure employees interact positively with people supported and maintain harmony between employees and clients
- Provides after-hours and on-call coverage as part of the direct care rotation
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities
- Flexible schedule and availability to provide on-call coverage as needed
- Ability to lift between 20 and 50 lbs. and provide CPR after certification
- CPR, first aid, NCI and/or MedTech certification, a plus
- At least 18 years of age
