Group Facilitator Coach

About the Role

The Group Facilitator-Coach is responsible for delivering psychoeducation and specialty groups in accordance with the RCA Care Model. The curriculum and training will be provided to ensure quality and consistency. This role involves supporting patient skills through coaching, with a primary focus on promoting sustained engagement in treatment. The Group Facilitator-Coach also supports the RSS team with operational or administrative needs, such as rounding, safety searches, belongings searches, and general milieu management. Attendance at staff meetings and trainings is required.

Key Performance Indicators include AA rate, group attendance, and measurement-based outcomes as directed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groups professionally and effectively to meet learning objectives.
• Carry out the RCA Care Model with fidelity.
• Track and report group attendance.
• Escalate concerns to the treatment team to promote patient safety and engagement.
• Participate in supervision with the Clinical Director.
• Engage with the recovery community in a culturally competent way, both in and outside of the group setting.
• Complete group notes and all other assigned documentation.
• Attend trainings and acquire skills to support evidence-based models.
• Complete cross-training for the RSS role and support RSS needs as they arise or as directed.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or minimum state requirements for education.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience, preferably in a residential setting.
• Experience working in group facilitation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing tasks.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment

May work in professional offices, clinics, hospitals, or outpatient facilities. The role involves active engagement with patients, requiring much time on your feet.

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
