Schedule

  • Day/Eve shift
  • Hours: 7am-3:30pm, 6:00-9:00pm

About This Role

As a Group Facilitator on our inpatient Behavioral Health team, you will lead meaningful therapeutic groups and activities that support patients on their path to recovery. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on trauma-informed care and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitating therapeutic groups and structured activities for inpatient behavioral health patients
  • Delivering trauma-informed, patient-centered programming that promotes recovery and engagement
  • Assessing group dynamics and individual participation to support therapeutic goals
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to align group content with treatment plans
  • Encouraging patient participation, emotional expression, and skill-building
  • Monitoring patient behavior and responding appropriately to ensure a safe environment
  • Documenting group participation and patient progress in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards
  • Supporting a respectful, inclusive, and confidential care environment

You will report to the Director of Behavioral Health and partner closely with the Group Program Coordinator to ensure high-quality programming and patient care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, counseling, psychology, occupational therapy, or a related field preferred
  • Previous group facilitation experience preferred
  • Prior experience working with behavioral health populations required, preferably in an inpatient setting

Qualifications

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - Healthcare Provider required
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification required within 30 days of hire

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Critical thinking and sound judgment in dynamic environments
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Basic computer and documentation skills
  • Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
