Group Exercise Instructor (HIT)

LIVunLtd is seeking a highly motivating and dynamic Group Fitness Instructor to join the team at Huntersville Family Fitness & Aquatics. The instructor will deliver daily morning and evening classes, with a focus on HIIT, and must be available for evening sessions.

Responsibilities

• Lead energizing, fun, safe, and educational group classes as directed by the director/coordinator to accomplish LIVunLtd and client mission and goals.
• Maintain working knowledge of wellness trends to provide effective information and support to members.
• Ensure member safety through proper exercise technique and make appropriate modifications when necessary.
• Build effective, authentic relationships with members.
• Keep accurate class attendance records.
• Ensure the facility, equipment, and environment are appropriately prepared for each class.

Skills & Qualifications

• At least one (1) year of experience teaching various types of group exercise classes.
• At least one (1) year of experience teaching HIIT.
• Active CPR and AED certification.
• Relevant fitness certification from a nationally accredited organization (e.g., AFAA, ACE, NASM, NSCA‑CSCS, CPT, ACSM, etc.).
• Energetic, positive, and motivational teaching style.
• Capable of incorporating a contemporary approach to classical exercises.
