As Group Director, Product Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in enabling the growth of critical businesses, while transforming emerging products and new business concepts into marketing-leading solutions. This leader will define how new products are positioned, launched (across businesses like membership, AI, B2B, etc.), adopted, and scaled, serving as the strategic bridge between the business and Marketing. From early-stage incubation through enterprise launch, you will shape go-to-market strategy, influence product direction, and create compelling narratives that accelerate customer adoption and business impact.
Leading a high-performing organization of approximately 40+, you’ll operate with significant autonomy and executive visibility while partnering across multi-disciplinary cross-functional teams. Responsibilities
- Define and execute enterprise product marketing strategies that support existing and emerging businesses.
- Establish differentiated positioning, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with target audiences and create competitive advantage.
- Influence product strategy and roadmap decisions through customer insights, market intelligence, competitive analysis, and business performance.
- Create scalable product marketing frameworks that can be leveraged across multiple products and business lines.
- Partner with business and strategy teams from concept through launch to shape products that meet customer and market needs.
- Lead integrated go-to-market planning across Marketing and businesses.
- Build launch strategies that accelerate adoption, customer engagement, revenue growth, and long-term product success.
- Establish commercialization best practices and repeatable operating models that improve speed to market.
- Partner with Customer Insights & Analytics team to uncover customer needs, emerging trends, whitespace opportunities, and competitive insights.
- Translate complex customer, business, and marketplace data into actionable recommendations for executive leadership.
- Develop segmentation strategies and customer personas that inform product development and marketing investments.
- Continuously evaluate market dynamics to influence future business opportunities.
- Define customer adoption strategies that maximize awareness, engagement, acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize the end-to-end customer experience across every stage of the product lifecycle.
- Establish success metrics in partnership with Customer Insights & Analytics team to measure commercialization effectiveness and business impact.
- Leverage experimentation, testing, AI, and analytics to continuously improve product performance and customer outcomes.
- Serve as the primary product marketing partner across various businesses, Marketing leadership, and executive leadership.
- Influence senior leaders and stakeholders through data-driven recommendations and compelling executive storytelling.
- Drive alignment across multiple organizations while balancing competing priorities and business objectives.
- Build trusted relationships that enable faster decision-making and stronger enterprise execution.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 40+ associates across Product Marketing disciplines.
- Create an inclusive, high-performing culture focused on innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Build organizational capabilities that leverage AI, automation, and modern marketing technologies to improve effectiveness at scale.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in Product Marketing, Go-to-Market Strategy, Commercialization, Brand Marketing, Growth Marketing, or related disciplines.
- Experience leading large-scale product launches and commercialization efforts for digital, retail, technology, marketplace, or B2B products.
- Demonstrated success influencing product strategy through customer insights, market research, competitive intelligence, and business analytics.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing organizations, including leaders and individual contributors.
- Exceptional executive communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience translating complex business data into strategic decisions.
- Proven ability to lead highly matrixed cross-functional initiatives with significant organizational impact.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in fast-paced, evolving environments.
Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree.
- Experience within omnichannel retail, Growth Marketing, eCommerce, technology, SaaS, marketplaces, advertising, or B2B organizations.
- Experience commercializing AI-enabled or emerging technology products.
- Experience building or transforming Product Marketing organizations.
- Familiarity with modern marketing technology, customer analytics platforms, and AI-enabled marketing capabilities.

Pay
Annual salary ranges:
- Bentonville, Arkansas: $160,000.00 - $320,000.00
- Hoboken, New Jersey: $192,000.00 - $384,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and stock for certain positions.
