On-siteMarketing$195k–$370k/yrFull-time

About the Role

Walmart is seeking a Group Director of Product Management to lead the products that determine how inventory is forecasted, positioned, replenished, and moved across one of the world's largest supply chain networks. This senior product leadership role sits at the intersection of supply chain, operations research, data science, AI, and product management. You will set the multi-year strategy for forecasting and inventory flow and lead an organization of approximately 70 associates.

We're looking for a leader who deeply understands how inventory moves through complex, multi-echelon supply chain networks and can translate that complexity into scalable products and decision systems. You may have built these products, operated the underlying supply chain capabilities, or done both.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision and multi-year strategy for forecasting, inventory, replenishment, and flow.
  • Apply operations research, optimization, data science, and AI to some of Walmart's most complex supply chain decisions.
  • Lead a large portfolio of interconnected products from strategy and discovery through enterprise-scale deployment.
  • Connect sophisticated models and technology with the realities and constraints of the physical supply chain.
  • Align senior executives across Product, Technology, Supply Chain, Operations, Merchandising, Finance, and Data Science on investments and tradeoffs.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing organization of approximately 70 product associates and senior product leaders.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in supply chain networks and inventory movement, including forecasting, replenishment, inventory optimization, allocation, network flow, or fulfillment.
  • Strong fluency in operations research, data science, optimization, forecasting, and AI/ML.
  • Experience building supply chain products and/or operating the capabilities those products support.
  • Experience leading complex product portfolios and senior leaders at significant scale.
  • Exceptional executive presence, communication, and influence.
  • Ability to translate highly technical and operational problems into clear product strategies and measurable business outcomes.

We're looking for someone who can operate equally well in the network, the science, the product, and the executive room—and bring those worlds together to transform how Walmart manages and moves inventory at scale.

Qualifications

  • Supervisory experience.
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.

Benefits

  • Health benefits: Medical, vision, and dental coverage.
  • Financial benefits: 401(k), stock purchase, and company-paid life insurance.
  • Paid time off: PTO (including sick leave), parental leave, family care leave, bereavement, jury duty, and voting. The amount depends on job classification and length of employment and meets or exceeds paid sick leave laws where applicable.
  • Other benefits: Short-term and long-term disability, company discounts, Military Leave Pay, adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, and more.
  • Education benefits: Live Better U, a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates, covering tuition, books, and fees for high school completion, bachelor’s degrees, English Language Learning, and short-form certificates. Eligibility requirements apply.
