What you'll do

Define the Future of Inventory Findability
You'll own the vision, strategy, and execution for a portfolio that includes:

  • Product Findability
  • Merchant Intent
  • Planogram Solutions
  • Pricing Platforms
  • Digital Shelf Language (DSL)
  • Wayfinding and Inventory Discovery Experiences

You'll connect customer needs, merchant priorities, operational realities, and technology capabilities into a cohesive product strategy that improves discoverability, inventory productivity, and customer satisfaction across Walmart's ecosystem.

Lead Customer-Centered Innovation
You'll champion a deep understanding of customers, merchants, operators, and associates by:

  • Driving customer research, journey mapping, and opportunity discovery
  • Defining high-impact problem statements and measurable success metrics
  • Ensuring teams focus on outcomes, not outputs
  • Translating customer insights into scalable product solutions
  • Building durable feedback loops that continuously improve the customer experience

Shape Product Strategy at Enterprise Scale

Requirements

  • Significant experience leading Product Management organizations at scale
  • Proven success owning complex product portfolios and enterprise platforms
  • Experience building and executing multi-year product strategies
  • Strong track record of delivering measurable business and customer outcomes
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics, and Business functions
  • Demonstrated success influencing senior executives and enterprise stakeholders
  • Experience leveraging data, experimentation, and customer insights to drive decisions
  • Strong financial acumen, including understanding product investments, business value, and resource allocation

Qualifications

  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 11 years' experience in product management
  • Option 2: 13 years' experience in product management or related area

Preferred qualifications

  • Retail, merchandising, inventory, supply chain, pricing, or store operations experience
  • Experience with enterprise platforms, internal tools, and operational technology
  • AI/ML-enabled product development experience
  • Experience leading globally distributed teams
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 10 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products
  • Supervisory experience
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly

  • Annual salary range: $130,000.00 – $260,000.00
