Group Counselor, Part Time - CIT, PLPC

About the role

This position offers a part-time opportunity as a Group Counselor, specializing in Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) and Play Therapy Level 1 (PLPC) services.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients in a safe and supportive environment.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision to maintain professional competence.
• Document client progress and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Valid state license/certification as a Group Counselor, CIT, and/or PLPC.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to providing culturally sensitive and trauma-informed care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
