Groundsperson - Tree Care

About the role

The Groundsperson - Tree Care role at SavATree involves working as part of a General Tree Care team to provide high-quality tree care services. This includes pruning, removals, cable bracing, and other tree care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with the Tree Care team to maintain and preserve clients' landscapes.
• Apply proper pruning practices, including large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Identify and understand the characteristics of native and introduced tree and shrub species.
• Operate chainsaws and other equipment safely and effectively.
• Use aerial lifts (bucket trucks) as required.
• Provide excellent service to clients.

Requirements

• Experience with proper pruning practices, including large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and have a working knowledge of each species’ characteristics.
• Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s license, CDL preferred.
• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket trucks).
• Authorized to lawfully work in the U.S.
