Groundskeeping Lead

About the role

Lead and support outdoor groundskeeping and landscaping activities to maintain the appearance, safety, and condition of outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities

• Mowing, trimming, planting, and weed control
• Operating landscaping equipment and performing seasonal maintenance
• Conducting site inspections
• Training team members and ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Performing minor equipment repairs

Requirements

• At least 1 year of groundskeeping, landscaping, or outdoor maintenance experience
• Proficiency with landscaping equipment
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Physical ability to walk, lift, and operate outdoor equipment

Qualifications

• Dependability and strong focus on safety
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently

• Supervisory experience
• Experience operating larger equipment like tractors
• Mentoring team members
