Groundskeeper - Vista Ridge
Position Summary
The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the property. Duties include daily trash removal from all exterior areas, cleaning around dumpsters, landscaping tasks (raking, mulching, weeding, watering), and snow/ice removal per policy.
Essential Functions
- Maintain common areas by emptying trash, cleaning fixtures, carpets, and laundry rooms, and replenishing supplies.
- Use a digital device to manage work orders, inspections, and documentation.
- Ensure a safe work environment, report hazards, and comply with Fair Housing laws.
- Maintain professional conduct, attend meetings, assist staff as needed, and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate in English orally and understand written and oral instructions.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- May require a valid driver’s license, ability to drive a motor vehicle, mini-truck, under-speed vehicles (USV) and utility vehicles (UTV) and auto insurance depending on the property.
