Groundskeeper - Seasonal
About the role
This position is seasonal with up to 40 hours a week for up to 6 months. Operates mowers, weed eaters, trucks, tractors and other equipment. Performs a variety of general custodial functions such as emptying trash, picking up litter, cleaning windows, sweeping and cleaning restrooms and other areas. Performs other duties in connection with the operation of the facility.
Responsibilities
- Operate mowers, weed eaters, trucks, tractors and other equipment.
- Use hand tools and some small power tools.
- Fix sprinklers and water pipes.
- Weed and maintain flower beds.
- Perform a variety of general custodial functions such as emptying trash, picking up litter, cleaning windows, sweeping and cleaning restrooms and other areas.
- Perform other duties in connection with the operation of the facility.
Requirements
Some experience in operation of mowers, weed eaters and other equipment and knowledge in landscaping. Must possess or be able to possess a valid Utah Driver's License and have a good driving record. Must be adaptable to changing work hours as shift hours may be varied. Working days may include weekends and holidays.

Skills
Knowledge of: Considerable knowledge of hand tools and mower usage. Minor engine repair work.
