Groundskeeper / Porter
We are hiring a dependable Groundskeeper (Porter) to help keep our resort-style community clubhouse clean, safe, and welcoming. This entry-level position supports the general maintenance, janitorial, and basic upkeep of the resort facility and reports to the Facilities Manager.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain common areas: hallways, bathrooms, locker rooms, gym, and patios
- Sweep, dust, and mop floors; clean windows
- Assist with daily pool area cleaning (vacuuming, skimming, wiping chairs/tables, removing debris)
- Empty trash and keep indoor/outdoor areas neat and presentable
- Set up and break down rooms for events, classes, holiday decorations, and resident activities
- Perform simple tasks like replacing light bulbs and reporting maintenance issues
- Keep supply rooms and carts organized
- Follow safety procedures and report hazards
Requirements
- Reliable and hardworking
- Able to work both indoors and outdoors
- Able to lift 20–30 lbs and be on your feet for most of the shift
- Experience in janitorial, groundskeeping, housekeeping, or porter work is helpful but not required
- Good attitude and strong customer service toward residents and guests
