About the role
A Groundskeeper focused on working with seniors performs grounds and light maintenance duties to maintain a clean and attractive property daily. Every day brings new opportunities to make a positive impact on both residents and staff, creating a safe, welcoming environment for seniors to call home.
Responsibilities
- Oversee resident apartments and property maintenance needs
- Inspect all grounds, parking lot, and front sidewalks
- Initiate orders for housekeeping supplies and equipment with Manager approval
- Maintain inventory of all supplies
- Assist maintenance staff with make-readies and other duties
Requirements
- Passion for working with seniors and creating a positive, supportive environment
- Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Reliable and adaptable
- Successful completion of drug and background testing (drug test does not screen for marijuana)
Schedule
Full-time, typically Monday through Friday.
