ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of exterior grounds, including walkways, driveways, parking areas, and landscaping areas.
- Pick up trash and debris throughout the community, including common areas, hallways, and play areas.
- Clean and maintain dumpster and trash collection areas.
- Power sweep sidewalks, parking areas, and streets as needed.
- Aid in the cleaning and maintenance of interior common spaces, including leasing office, models, hallways, vestibules, and storage areas, as directed.
- Ensure all areas of the property meet company cleanliness and safety standards.
- Perform seasonal duties such as snow and ice removal and spreading ice melt.
- Operate and maintain equipment such as lawn mowers, edgers, blowers, and other groundskeeping tools.
- Work closely with the Site Manager and Maintenance team to prioritize daily tasks.
- Interact professionally with residents, vendors, and team members.
- Perform other duties that support the operational goals of the property and organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Entry-level role; no prior experience required. Previous groundskeeping or maintenance experience is a plus.
- Knowledge & Skills: Ability to follow direction and work effectively within a team environment; strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety; basic communication skills (ability to read, write, and speak English); ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- The compensation range for this position is $14.00 – $18.00 per hour. Starting pay is determined based on relevant experience, skill level, and internal equity.
- In addition to base pay, eligible team members may participate in performance-based incentives where applicable.
