Groundskeeper - Crestwood High

Qualifications

High School Diploma preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Examines school grounds, to include athletic facilities, on a regular basis for needed improvement.
• Remains current on issues and successful practices associated with ground maintenance.
• Attends all required training.
• Operates various types of lawn machinery in a productive and safe manner and provides low level maintenance as needed.
• Trains new grounds men on the productive and safe use of machinery.
• Must be able to work outside for eight (8) hours a day (flexible schedule as may be required) and lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Schedule

233 days per year.

Performance of this job will be evaluated by the in accordance with provisions of Sumter School District policy.
