Groundskeeper C - Full Time (Tropicana Atlantic City)

About the role

Understands and responds to internal guests needs. Communicates in a friendly, respectful and understandable manner. Politely gives consistent, timely and accurate information and finds answer when unsure. Uses outlined service behaviors when encountering guests.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the general cleaning and maintenance, removal of debris from the external grounds area of property to include, but not limited to docks, garages, walks, rooftops, parking lots etc.
• Operates necessary tools and equipment (including heavy sit-on equipment such as street sweepers) to accomplish same.
• Performs casual labor or emergency functions at employer’s discretion.
• Delivers supplies and materials as requested.
• Drives company vehicles and participates in the removal of snow on the property.
• Keeps Lead informed of inventory on all materials and equipment needed to perform job duties
• Completes special assignments for management as requested.
• Assists with Apprentice training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Requires a minimum of one-year general work experience in ground maintenance area.
• Must have a valid New Jersey driver's license.
• Requires a safe driving record having less than 6 points on an individual's driving record.
