Groundskeeper
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain community grounds, amenities, and parking areas to ensure a clean and attractive appearance
- Prepare vacant apartments for move-in by clearing out trash and assisting with make-ready tasks
- Perform general property maintenance, including pressure washing, painting, and trash removal
- Assist with light emergency maintenance as needed
- Support the maintenance team with additional tasks when necessary
Qualifications & Skills
- 1+ year of experience as a Groundskeeper or Porter (required)
- Basic property maintenance skills (painting, pressure washing, trash pick-up, etc.)
- Strong customer service and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and be available for after-hours emergencies
- Dependable and strong work ethic are essential
- Reliable transportation to support property needs
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Valid driver’s license with a clear Motor Vehicle Record
- Able to work at other properties as needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment
- Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive stooping, bending, and kneeling
