Groundskeeper
About the role
Performs a diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance and construction, including semi‑skilled grounds construction and maintenance work and related tasks as required. This is a seasonal part‑time position with an expected duration of six months or less.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general landscape maintenance using handheld equipment.
- Rake and maintain sand bunkers.
- Operate small machinery to assist with edging, trimming, and mowing.
- Prepare soil beds for sod, seed, and vegetative material.
- Handle tasks related to course detail such as weed and debris clean‑up.
- Assist with golf course set‑up procedures.
- Operate utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.
- Perform skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.).
- Operate equipment safely and remain aware of associates and their prospective work areas.
- Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
- Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- One month related experience or training.
- Valid driver’s license.
Other Qualifications
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and work collaboratively with team members.
Compensation
$14.00 per hour.
