Groundskeeper

About the role

As a Groundskeeper, you play a key role in making our properties a great place to live and work! This position is a member of the Maintenance staff, working directly with the Account Manager and office staff to provide world-class service to our customers. LSI Groundskeepers are diligent, energetic, devoted, and happy with incredible attention to detail. You play a key role in the upkeep of the property!

Responsibilities

• Take pride in your property, ensuring it always looks its best.
• Responsible for the overall upkeep of the property landscape and the exterior image, including:
  • Using leaf blowers to remove debris from parking lots, curbs, etc.
  • Pruning, weeding, stick and branch removal.
  • Maintenance of property flowerbeds, plants, and grass areas.
  • Assisting with snow removal.
• Provide world-class customer service by addressing the concerns and maintenance needs of our customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist the Maintenance staff on other projects as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma.
• Previous grounds or custodial maintenance experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs and physically able to perform duties in all weather conditions.
• Ability to understand, follow instructions, think, and work with little supervision.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to walk up to 10 miles a day.

Schedule

Must be available to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, including occasional weekends.
