Groundskeeper

Responsibilities

• Walk through entire property at the beginning of every day checking overall cleanliness.
• Ensure streets and curbs are free of debris, run trash compactor daily as needed, utilize power washer and be prepared for monthly landscaping "grounds walks".
• General Property Cleanliness: Keep leasing office parking lot and entrance clean.
• Pool area: Test pool/spa daily, record readings, empty trash cans daily, arrange pool furniture neatly, clean off deck(s) as needed, maintain clean and orderly pump room.
• Customer Service: Communicate clearly to the residents. Receive resident concerns in a calm and open manner, solve problems quickly using common sense (within 24 hours whenever possible), Carry and deliver boxes, flowers, newsletters, correspondence, etc., to residents' apartments, Coordinate, set up, attend, and clean up after resident functions (food, tables, display areas, etc.).

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED required; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general instructions, technical procedures, or regulations.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to handle a rigorous schedule of deadlines.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Physical Demands

• Moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily administrative nature.
• Includes sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time with the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, works with the fingers and perceives attributes of objects and materials.
• Moves objects from one floor to another.
• Frequently bends/stoops, climbs stairs, kneels, balances, reaches above shoulder height, walks and twists.
• Has normal range of vision, hearing and speech.

Pay

Starting at $16 an hour, plus monthly bonus.
