About the Role
Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic appearance of the resort and villas grounds areas by performing a diverse range of grounds maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
- Mow, trim, and blow all turf areas around the resort.
- Plant, weed, and mulch all flower beds around the resort.
- Sweep or blow roadside, walkways, parking lots, and tennis courts.
- Edge walkways, flowerbeds, and curbs throughout the property.
- Operate and maintain utility vehicles and equipment, following standards and safety guidelines.
- Deliver "I Am Proud" service standards and department-specific signature touch points.
- Establish cross-departmental channels of communication among teammates that are consistent and complete.
- Use common grounds maintenance power tools including mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
- Use hand tools including rakes, brooms, shovels, and sod knives.
- Power wash all hardscape areas.
- Assist with irrigation system repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain daily shop upkeep and cleanliness.
- Perform any other assigned duties.
- Greet every guest, member, and team member with "I Am Proud" standards and set a positive tone for every interaction.

Requirements
- Basic employment skills in clerical, service, or manual areas.
- Previous grounds maintenance experience valued but not required.
- Valid Driver's License.
Work Environment
- Frequent standing, walking, bending over, reaching, crouching, kneeling, balancing, pushing/pulling, and lifting/carrying (11 to 50 lbs).
- Manual dexterity, fine and gross motor skills, eye/hand coordination, near and far vision, color recognition, and hearing.
- Work both indoors and outdoors, potentially in inclement weather.
- Exposure to excessive heat/cold, humidity, noise, vibrations, uneven surfaces, and operating motorized equipment or vehicles.
- Continuous teamwork and communication with internal and cross-departmental teams.
- Daily pre-shift meetings and occasional one-on-one coaching sessions.
