Groundskeeper

About the Role

Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the building and facility as a Groundskeeper.

Responsibilities

• Cut grass, maintain lawn, trim around trees, walkways, and markers.
• Clear debris and maintain drives and walkways in safe condition.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of supplies, equipment, and/or merchandise.
• Maintain, service, clean, and properly store equipment.
• Properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to use.
• Comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines concerning storage and use of chemical substances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Experience using handheld tools such as weed cutter, push lawn mower, hedge trimmer, edger, leaf vacuum, and blower.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs following appropriate safety procedures.
• Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time.
• Climb ladders and work at heights above ground level (maximum 3ft).
• Ability to work in different environmental conditions (e.g., heat, cold, wind, rain).
• Walk and climb stairs.
• Handle, finger, grasp, and feel objects and equipment.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Navigate the property/building quickly and easily to meet job functions.
• Repeat various motions with the wrists, hands, and fingers.

Supervisory Responsibilities

No supervisory responsibilities.

Schedule

Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

Pay

$17.00 - $17.50 per hour.
