About the role
Citizens Health is seeking a groundskeeper to join our plant operations department. Reporting to the Plant Operations Manager, the groundskeeper will be responsible for maintaining the property’s grounds.
Responsibilities
- Mow grass.
- Trim and weed.
- Clean and paint parking lots.
- Auxiliary in ensuring guest and coworker safety and security by reporting any suspicious or unusual behavior or occurrence to the appropriate supervisor on duty, and informing security.
- In the course of normal duties, to observe, report, or take immediate corrective action on deficiencies, malfunctions, and untidiness.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience operating small farm tractors, riding lawn mowers and other powered and unpowered yard care equipment.
- Maintenance experience helpful.
- A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Skills
- Manual dexterity.
- Normal vision and hearing, with or without correction, which is adequate for all types of interpersonal communications.
- Exerts 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally to push/pull and moves/lift heavy equipment or supplies.
- Manual labor is required.
- Exposed to sun, heat, noise, dust, and other weather extremes.
- Working with power equipment and lawn chemicals is required.

Pay range dependent upon experience.
