Groundskeeper

About the role

Citizens Health is seeking a groundskeeper to join our plant operations department. Reporting to the Plant Operations Manager, the groundskeeper will be responsible for maintaining the property’s grounds.

Responsibilities

• Mow grass.
• Trim and weed.
• Clean and paint parking lots.
• Auxiliary in ensuring guest and coworker safety and security by reporting any suspicious or unusual behavior or occurrence to the appropriate supervisor on duty, and informing security.
• In the course of normal duties, to observe, report, or take immediate corrective action on deficiencies, malfunctions, and untidiness.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience operating small farm tractors, riding lawn mowers and other powered and unpowered yard care equipment.
• Maintenance experience helpful.
• A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Skills

• Manual dexterity.
• Normal vision and hearing, with or without correction, which is adequate for all types of interpersonal communications.
• Exerts 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally to push/pull and moves/lift heavy equipment or supplies.
• Manual labor is required.
• Exposed to sun, heat, noise, dust, and other weather extremes.
• Working with power equipment and lawn chemicals is required.

Pay

Pay range dependent upon experience.

Schedule

Typically Monday-Friday 8AM to 4:30PM.
