Groundskeeper (1568-Petersburg, Virginia)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain time periods for the following tasks to be performed daily - Cleaning of common areas; Cleaning of vacant apartments; Policing of grounds; Ground’s maintenance.
• Notify supervisor of completed work and readiness for inspection to ensure they meet Drucker + Falk standards.
• Maintain accurate records of time worked.
• Request, through the Maintenance Superintendent/Property Manager, purchase of necessary supplies without overstocking.
• Call attention to any defects or deficiencies noted during the day's work so that the Maintenance Superintendent /Property Manager may order necessary repairs.
• Maintain the highest standards of resident relations.
• Perform duties as requested by Maintenance Superintendent /Property Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
• Frequent exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock.
• Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; extreme cold; extreme heat; and vibration.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• One to three months related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
