Groundskeeper (07-29-2026)

About the Role

This position involves limited supervisory responsibilities and primarily routine groundskeeping tasks assigned by the Grounds Coordinator or Lead Groundskeeper. The schedule is primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional additional hours or weekend flexibility required.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor maintenance and repairs of grounds equipment.
• Conduct a variety of routine groundskeeping tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Hand mowing, string trimming, and blowing.
  • Tractor mowing and riding mower mowing.
  • Pruning, plant bed preparation, and planting of trees, shrubs, and other plants.
  • Manual weed control, digging, and raking.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, grasping, bending, squatting, climbing stairs, continuous standing, and walking.
• Properly use LeTourneau University-supplied chemicals and safety equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Grounds experience is preferred.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Texas Driver License with an acceptable driving record is required.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and various weather extremes.
