About the role

The Grounds Tech I is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the grounds and facilities at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. This includes landscaping, maintenance of outdoor structures, and ensuring safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds and facilities in accordance with hospital standards and regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and planting.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and used safely.
• Respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new technologies and practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in grounds maintenance or similar field.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of basic landscaping tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience with lawn care and maintenance.
• Good physical condition and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay

The starting pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00 per hour.

Schedule

Hours are typically Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with some weekend and evening work required.
