Grounds Mechanic

About the Role

As a Grounds Mechanic, you will perform and oversee all grounds maintenance to ensure that the Northwest Hospital Campus is professionally maintained. You will also provide maintenance mechanic assistant services on all equipment within the entire Hospital facilities to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with established requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, performs, and oversees all grounds-related duties.
• Monitors weather-related conditions and provides leadership for snow removal.
• Cleans and maintains exterior lots and campus grounds for trash and debris.
• Performs regular maintenance and minor repairs on lawn care equipment, tools, and grounds-related equipment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Full Maryland Driver's license (not provisional or permit) and a good driving record.
• 1 to 3 years of related experience.

Pay

$18.19 to $27.29 per hour, based on experience.
