Grounds Maintenance Worker - Public Works

Part-time position based in Hyrum, UT, maintaining the grounds of the Public Works/Fire facility.

Responsibilities

• Trim edges, plant and maintain flower beds
• Keep outdoor areas clean and litter-free
• Assist in managing public facilities, including trash removal and landscape clean-up
• Operate and maintain small equipment used in grounds maintenance
• Perform sprinkler repair and lawn care tasks
• Work independently and take initiative on daily projects
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently

Requirements

• Proficiency in lawn care techniques and sprinkler repair
• Experience operating small grounds maintenance equipment
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork
• Adaptability to varying tasks and circumstances

Pay

$17.00 per hour.
