Grounds Keeper

About the role

Weekend Grounds Cleanup position at Traders Village San Antonio. We are looking for dependable team members to help keep the market clean and welcoming for guests, vendors, and events. This is a weekend-only position working Saturday and Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Collect trash throughout the market and place it in designated dumpsters or compactors
• Remove full trash bags from trash cans around the property
• Break down and transport boxes and waste using carts
• Sweep spills and help clean water puddles when needed
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for guests and vendors
• Work as part of the Grounds team and report to the Grounds Supervisor

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, janitorial, or groundskeeping experience is a plus, but not required
• Must be reliable and able to work independently
• Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• At least 16 years and older
• Bending, lifting, and stooping
• Lifting up to 40–50 lbs
• Ability to stay active and manage assigned areas of the market

Schedule

Weekend-only position working Saturday and Sunday.
