Grounds Keeper

About the role

Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village is Meridian's exclusive resort-style retirement community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services and amenities. We are currently seeking the right person to join our team as a Grounds Keeper.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the grounds and common areas are attractive, clean, and well-maintained;
• Maintain sprinkler systems;
• Reseed/reseed lawn where needed;
• Prune trees and other foliage;
• Plant trees, flowers, and other plants;
• Assist with cleaning windows and buildings.

Requirements

• $18.00 per hour starting wage;
• Monday-Friday from 6:30am-3:00pm;

Qualifications

• Commitment to and passion for 100% customer satisfaction;
• Experience and knowledge of grounds maintenance, including weed pulling and spraying; pruning trees and other foliage; assisting with planting of trees, flowers, and other plants; maintaining sprinkler systems; and reseeding/repairing lawn where needed;
• Ability to read, write, and speak English;
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record;
• Ability to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors;
• Ability to pass a drug test.

Pay

$18.00 per hour starting wage

Schedule

Monday-Friday from 6:30am-3:00pm
