Grounds Crew - Event Staff

About the Role

This position is responsible for performing field maintenance work at loanDepot Park during each Miami Marlins home game. Under the direction of the Grounds Department, the role ensures the execution of all field and landscape maintenance tasks to maintain a safe and pristine natural grass playing surface that meets Major League Baseball's high standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and landscape maintenance tasks to uphold the quality of the playing surface.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment under the direction of the Grounds Department.
• Operate in a fast-paced environment during games and events.

Requirements

• Ability to take direction and work effectively in a team setting.
• Capability to stand, walk, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort working around dust, fumes, and odors.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays according to the baseball/events schedule.
