About the role

A Groundman is an entry level position in the lines department and performs a variety of labor duties necessary to assist journey level workers and others in installing, maintaining, repairing and/or operating company facilities and equipment. Groundman employees will be required to pass the NJATC with a 5 or better before applying/bidding to an apprenticeship when such a position opens. The Pre‑Apprentice Lineman employees will be required to bid locations in Wyoming, after successfully passing the final Journeyman Lineman Exam. Locations: Riverton, WY (82501); Douglas, WY (82633); Worland, WY (82401). - Hand lineman necessary protective equipment needed for work being performed (i.e. (hotsticks, rubber goods, blankets, gloves, etc)
- Prepare and assemble various line apparatus required for particular work being performed.
