Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, and manage Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and Models-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) products.
- Provide technical advice to senior program managers and executives on space system and segment design and test issues to inform major program decisions.
- Perform systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews, technical evaluations, and requirements verification.
- Analyze problems, develop technical reports, make recommendations, and work with government and corporate stakeholders to implement recommended solutions.
- Contribute to the acquisition and development of space sensing capabilities.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active U.S. Government security clearance
- Certain roles may be subject to U.S. export control laws, requiring U.S. person status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
- 4+ years of experience working on large-scale systems engineering, integration, and development programs
- 2+ years of experience with performing and leading a team in the development and management of technical specifications, ICDs, concepts of operations (CONOPS), architectural designs, and integration and test plans
- Experience leading requirements and interface management efforts for a major program
- Experience coordinating and presenting technical changes across large stakeholder groups through review boards, including configuration control or engineering review
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Knowledge of systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience performing systems engineering, integration, and testing on space-based remote sensing systems, including SBIRS, Next Gen OPIR, FORGE, WSF-M, or EWS
- Experience using MBSE approaches to manage system definitions and technical baselines
- Experience creating and managing Jira tickets and Confluence pages
- Experience with SysML, Enterprise Architect, CAMEO, or DOORS
- Knowledge of DoD 5000.01 and 5000.02
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- TS/SCI clearance
- INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification, including ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP
Pay & Benefits
- Starting pay for this role will fall within the listed range and will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions.
- The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $105,000.00 - $140,000.00 - $154,000.00 annually.
- The base pay for this position within California is: $121,000.00 - $161,000.00 - $177,100.00 annually.
- For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
