Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on ground support and stationary equipment including tugs, belt loaders, ADA ramps, stationary air conditioning units, air starts, ground power units, water cabinets, and other essential machinery in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.
- Keep equipment reliable and ready for use at all times by inspecting, troubleshooting, and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues while adhering to manufacturer specifications and company safety standards.
- Assist OSCs as a wing walker to safeguard aircraft wings during pushback operations, maintaining clear communication with the driver to prevent hazards.
- Inspect vehicles, parts, and equipment for defects, proper fluid levels, and signs of wear to ensure optimal performance.
- Keep all tools and equipment in safe, working condition and document maintenance or repairs performed on GSE.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe GSE workspace, ensuring tools and parts are properly stored.
- Track and replenish parts inventory as needed to minimize downtime.
- Move vehicles or equipment safely into the service area by driving, towing, or pushing, and conduct inspections to identify and address issues promptly.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Ability to occasionally lift 75+ pounds
- 2 years of ground support experience
- Ability to perform intermittent physical activity including bending, reaching, and prolonged periods of standing
- Available to work flexible shifts including early mornings, late nights, holidays, and weekends
- Participation in initial and random drug and alcohol screenings in accordance with the DOT and FAA guidelines
- Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors for an extended amount of time during cold/wet or hot conditions
- Read, write, and speak English fluently

Skills
- Customer Service experience working with high end clients
- Travel industry experience
- 2 years of airline experience
