Ground Network Operations Agent - Night Shift
Job Description
Create operating records for scheduled and ad hoc truck routes in Expeditors’ systems.
Cook up paperwork for the transfer of freight within the network including load manifests and bills of lading.
Manage system updates.
Receive and inspect network inbound and transfer freight as needed.
Identify potential operational delays and capacity constraints in the ground network.
Aid in enacting contingencies to expand ad hoc capacity as needed, and arrange reroutes and additional trucks as necessary.
Record system delays and perform root analysis as necessary.
Support documentation as needed, including processing consolidations in e.tms Export and Import and monitoring work flows.
Ensure service provider equipment is in place at regional branches to facilitate operations.
Perform service provider reviews and update CRM as necessary.
HOURS
Sunday - Tuesday, Friday - Saturday 16:00 -23:59 (Off Wednesday/Thursday)
Qualifications
- 2+ years transportation, local PU/D, distribution, or related logistics experience preferred.
- Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.
- Strong facilitation and problem resolution
- Strong organizational skills, ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
- Attention to detail and an ability to follow through with tasks.
- Drive for continuous improvements. Assist management in highlighting value of the relationship to the service provider as well as our branch.
Pay
Salary:$46,000 - $50,000
