GROUND BEEF PANEL OPERATOR B-SHIFT

About the Role

JBS Grand Island is seeking a panel operator for our ground beef department. This position consists of providing administrative and clerical support to the fabrication operations management team.

Responsibilities

• Set up the grinders before the workday begins.
• Assist in setting up other equipment.
• Fill out the ground beef blender sheet.
• Ensure correct lean points.
• Apply proper CO2 to all blends and maintain acceptable temperature.
• Relay product codes to the K-pack operator.
• Ensure product is mixed together correctly.
• Perform tasks by monitoring the computerized panel.
• Monitor product going into accupumps and K-PACK machine.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong written and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to new environments and situations.

Schedule

Hours vary as dictated by production, with additional overtime and weekends as needed.
