Responsibilities

  • Author and maintain the GMN Program Protection Plan (PPP)
  • Develop supplementary technical inputs to the GMD Security Classification Guide (SCG) and Operations Security (OPSEC) Plans
  • Tailor protection requirements to GMN’s specific Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF) pathway
  • Conduct Critical Program Information (CPI) assessments
  • Assist GMN on the anti-tamper design and implementation of physical, electrical, and logical countermeasures
  • Conduct Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) assessments
  • Drive Software Assurance (SwA) and Hardware Assurance (HwA) initiatives
  • Coordinate with Missile Defense Agency counterintelligence and defense intelligence agencies
  • Develop protection requirements directly into Statements of Work, Requests for Proposals, and system performance specifications
  • Participate in the technical evaluation of contract proposals
  • Assist GMN in preparation, conduct, and after-action responsibilities for system requirements reviews, design reviews, project status reviews, test and acceptance events, fielding readiness reviews, and operational readiness reviews
  • Develop and present technical reports and briefings
  • Support the Engineering Review Boards (ERB), other Stakeholder coordination, and Operational Capacity List (OCL) approval process
  • Travel as required (estimated 10%)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related STEM discipline
  • Minimum of 7 years of direct experience in program protection
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DoD Program Protection disciplines, including Anti-Tamper, SCRM, SWA/HwA, and Information Security
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • An active security clearance (SECRET or above)

Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with DoD policies and guidance related to Program Protection (e.g., Defense Acquisition Guidebook Chapter 9, DoDI 5000.83)
