Freelance position starting 1 July 2026 in Montpellier, France. Part-time hours with frequent travel throughout France and Europe.
About the role
A groom is needed to support a high-level show-jumping rider (Senior National High-Level athlete, multiple French team selections, national champion titles) during CSO competitions.
Responsibilities
- Travel with the rider to competitions in France and Europe (several trips per month)
- Drive the transport vehicle (light vehicle) carrying one or two horses
- Provide daily equine care: grooming, feeding, monitoring health
- Maintain stables, equipment, and transport materials
- Exercise horses on the lunge line
Requirements
- Valid French driving licence B and BE (trailer)
- Proven experience as a groom in equestrian competition
- Willingness to travel extensively
