About the Role

The Grocery Retail Stocker (Merchandiser) role focuses on merchandising products by stocking shelves, rotating inventory, setting up displays, organizing coolers and backrooms, and moving products to the sales floor. You’ll also accurately order product for the next delivery, execute promotions, and maintain strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Fill and merchandise coolers, displays, racks, shelves, and vendors according to PBV standards.
• Execute promotions and create/utilize point-of-sale signage.
• Develop and maintain good customer relations; service all customers as scheduled.
• Order product and/or run invoices.
• Clean equipment, maintain organized backroom storage, and rotate stock.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED highly preferred; three to five years of relevant work experience may substitute.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to perform basic financial calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Capability to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Must meet PBV driving qualifications.
• Willingness to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work in a team environment and as a self-starter with excellent follow-up skills.
