Grocery Overnight Clk ELR

Position Summary

The Grocery Overnight Clerk is responsible for stocking shelves with received merchandise.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Process freight delivery
• Create new displays, set end caps, stock shelves, zone/face all aisles
• Sort grocery merchandise assigning labels and price tags
• Ensure replenishment of sold merchandise
• Monitor shelf life of merchandise ensuring proper rotation when needed
• Maintain inventory in stockroom
• Prominently display promotional merchandise
• Maintain reports for overages, shortages and damages
• Other duties as assigned

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Warehouse experience and forklift experience preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Physical Demands And Work Conditions

• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls
• Vision abilities include close vision and ability to adjust focus
• Work environment typical of an office and retail store; noise level ranges from quiet to loud
• Able to drive and flexible to travel to all company locations as required
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work schedules are variable depending on needs of price changes; schedules will be variable working from midnight
